A. YES! Since our warranty is product-based, high mileage is not an issue for qualifying.
A. Product Based means our warranty is based on you using our product in your automobile. After you purchase our warranty we send you our patented additive (our product) which you pour into your radiator overflow. This “product” causes your cooling system to run cooler, thereby extending the life of your power train. Based on you adding our Company Patented Additive (“product”) to your cooling system and fulfilling a few simple requirements, we will warranty your vehicle for another 5 years or 100,000 miles, which ever comes first. Incidentally, the 100,000 miles is in addition to the miles already on your vehicle.
A. Very simple, just change your oil and oil filter every 6,000 miles and/or every six months (which ever comes first) and have the transmission fluid serviced within 6 months of the product purchase date. Then continue to follow the manufacturer’s recommended maintenance schedule for your vehicle. That's it!
A. Your oil must be changed at a commercial establishment so you can be provided with typed or computer generated receipt and verification of mileage and date it was changed in order to conform to the warranty specifications. Also, commercial establishments always document the date and mileage of an oil change and that is very important because it gives you undeniable proof of your compliance to warranty validity requirements, should you ever need it. Handwritten receipts are not acceptable
A. NO, 5YrWarranty.com never requires a deductible payment, unlike most other warranty providers.
A. Because until you do sell it, you can drive with complete peace of mind. Why, because for only $50, your new buyer can assume all of your remaining benefits. Your new buyer will have as much as 4 years and approximately 80,000 - 85,000 miles of protection. Therefore, you can add the price you pay now to your asking price then, and actually drive that year for FREE! Is that SWEET or what? Just keep your receipts to give to your new buyer because all transfers are done by a case-by-case basis and verification receipts may or will be required.

A. NO!! Just show your warranty policy to the repair shop service manager who will call us for authorization. Upon completion of the authorized repair you just sign and drive away. You never come out of you pocket for any money for repairs.
A. Upon completion of the job, the service manager faxes or mails us an invoice. If the invoice is faxed, we can pay them by credit card immediately or we can mail them a check. The option is theirs.
A. Yes, provided the repair has been authorized by 5YrWarranty.com’ Claims Department, prior to the work being performed.
A. You should never have any work done before receiving authorization from 5YrWarranty.com' Claims Department. 5YrWarranty.com will not pay for any repairs done without prior authorization. Getting authorization is as easy as making a phone call. Getting prior authorization takes you off the hook as far as worry and expenses are concerned, after all that is why we are here, to serve you.
A. If for some reason the repair facility wants direct payment from you (and that is rare), call us for authorization at our Claims Department at 877.212.5246, and we will immediately mail you a check for the approved amount.
A. If your vehicle becomes disabled and needs repair work done while no one is in our office, leave a message stating the problem and your return number. Someone will get back to you a quickly as possible. Meanwhile until we get back to you, do not authorize any repairs or parts removal from your vehicle. Remember, we will not pay for any unauthorized repairs. 5YrWarranty.com’ Claims Department hours are 8:30am to 5:00pm CST Monday through Friday.
